About Us
Sierra Valley Moving handles all types of relocation, private and commercial. Office and household relocations, packing services, modular furniture installations, and furniture deliveries are all services that we provide. All of our trucks are equipped with lift gates, which promote both employee and product safety, and selected trucks are equipped with Air Ride vans for more sensitive cargo. In addition to rack space for palletized freight, our 45,000 sq. ft. storage facility is home to more than 450 storage vaults, and is fully alarmed to ensure protection of our customer’s product.
Company
Sierra Valley Moving & Storage, Inc. opened for business in 1998. Starting with 1 truck and 2 men (the owners) Sierra Valley has grown into a full service moving and storage provider. Since 1998, Sierra Valley has become the regional company of choice for many private and commercial clients. We take pride in being flexible in order to meet the needs of our individual customers and in acting as a support team for our corporate clients who need results in a timely manner.
Owners
The owners, have more than 40 years of experience in the moving and storage industry, and have built their company on a foundation of customer satisfaction and personal accountability. Both are active in the daily operations of the company, and strive to develop personal relationships with repeat and potential clients alike.
There’s a lot to think about when it comes to moving your place of business. Here at Sierra Valley, our goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible. Unlike most moving companies, we take the time to thoroughly plan each move that we perform, taking into account both the well-being of the product being moved, and the speed with which it can be moved. We implement several types of carts and equipment that are built for speed and ease. We take the time to protect the facilities involved with the move, and are fully insured to both protect us, and to satisfy the requirements of the property management of both your current and new facilities. We consider the best combinations of manpower and equipment for each individual move, and will not under-man our jobs just so we can sell you on a lower rate. Rather, we will tell you up front what your move will take, as your time is valuable and efficiency is of the utmost importance when the downtime of your business is in question. All of these things combine to make your move as efficient and cost-effective as possible, which is why our corporate customers come back to us time and time again.

Many furniture brokers do not have their own trucks for delivering the furniture they sell, leaving the customer wondering how they will transport all of their new furniture. As a full service storage provider, we offer solutions for a wide range of needs. Our 45,000 square foot storage warehouse houses 450 storage vaults, in addition to pallet racking for storing large items or freight. The building is fully alarmed and monitored by a private security company after business hours. All furniture that comes into our warehouse is entered into our inventory system, making it easy to identify exactly what you have with us at all times. Need a desk for a new employee? Just give us the order- we’ll pull it from your inventory, deliver it, and set it up for you. We specialize in short-notice requests, as we understand the importance of being flexible in a constantly changing work environment, as well as the need to minimize the downtime for employees.
